| ▶Minimum Education Criteria Most posts require a pass in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination (10th Standard) or its equivalent. ▶Higher Secondary: 12th Pass / Higher Secondary Required for Forest Guard posts ( specific subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology, or Botany). ▶Degree: Required Some Posts Like Junior Executive (Office), Junior Assistant cum Typist (Labour Studies), Typist (CMDA), Steno Typist (Grade III – Various Depts.), Personal Clerk, Assistant (TNPCB). Technical Qualifications: ▶Typist Posts: Typewriting (Higher/Senior Grade and Lower/Junior Grade in Tamil and English, specific combinations vary by post). ▶Steno-Typist Posts: Require specific Government Technical Examination passes in both Typewriting and Shorthand (Higher/Senior Grade and Lower/Junior Grade in Tamil and English, specific combinations vary by post. ▶Computer on Office Automation: A pass in the Certificate Course conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education is required for several posts (Typist, Steno-Typist, Junior Executive, Assistant). ▶Co-operative Training: Required for Junior Executive (Office) post.
